Winter Support Program 2025/2026

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: A program has begun its work, uniting over ten government initiatives to provide assistance to Ukrainians during the winter period. The Ministry of Economic Development coordinates three key social projects.

"3,000 kilometers across Ukraine"

This program allows free travel across Ukraine for up to 3,000 km during off-peak months. Residents of frontline regions will be the first to use this service. Each citizen can receive up to 4 free tickets through a special UZ application.

Support for residents of frontline regions

As part of this initiative, compensation for electricity, assistance with solid fuel, and support in the housing and utility sector are provided. There are also benefits and prohibitions on service disconnection and debt collection.

Energy efficiency programs

The state compensates interest on loans for the installation of solar panels and other energy-efficient systems in private homes. Homeowners' associations can receive grants for energy modernization and reconstruction of buildings.

Financial assistance for citizens: 1,000 UAH for everyone and 6,500 UAH for vulnerable categories of citizens. Ukrposhta will ensure the delivery of payments across the country.
