Salaries in Ukraine rose sharply in various sectors in October 2025: where do they pay the most

In Ukraine, a significant increase in salaries was recorded in the creative, educational, and technical sectors in October 2025. According to OLX Work, the highest growth rates were observed in advertising, design, IT, education, and translation. The details of the study were published by RBC-Ukraine.

Where salaries have increased the most

Cherkasy Oblast became the leader in growth rates, with the average salary in advertising and design rising by 138%, reaching 12,500 UAH.In Zhytomyr Oblast, there is a spike in several areas:

• IT — +130% (28,800 UAH)

• culture — +93% (15,300 UAH)

• medicine — +76% (30,000 UAH).

In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, educators and translators receive 114% more than at the beginning of the year, while real estate specialists earn 55% more. In Rivne and Chernivtsi Oblasts, the incomes of students and newcomers without experience increased significantly by 81% and 75% respectively.

In the south and east of Ukraine, noticeable changes are also happening: in Mykolaiv Oblast, salaries in the cleaning sector rose by 63%, and in Zaporizhzhia, in advertising and design, by 59%. An absolute record was registered in Sumy Oblast, where the incomes of designers and marketers tripled, increasing by 211%.

What trends are shaping the labor market

Overall, in 2025, salaries in creative, IT, and technical specialties are growing the fastest, as well as in sectors that attract young specialists without much experience. Experts explain this by demand for specialists who can quickly adapt to new technologies and work formats.

It was previously noted that the labor of working professions is also becoming more expensive in Ukraine — masons, plumbers, and plasterers. Their earnings now reach 45,000 to 60,000 UAH per month, making these professions some of the highest paid.
