On this day, November 22, we remember the tragic events of the Holodomors, when millions of Ukrainians died of starvation. These terrible tragedies occurred in 1921–1923, 1932–1933, and 1946–1947 due to the violence of the totalitarian regime.
Today we see certain analogies between past events and the current actions of the state. Just as in the past, we observe aggressive actions by the authorities against the peaceful population and violations of human rights.
It is important not only to honor the memory of the victims of the Holodomors but also to prevent the repetition of similar crimes in the future.
Today, our main goal as a society is to protect human rights, preserve life, and prevent any forms of discrimination or violence against the Ukrainian people.
