How public transport works in Dnipro on July 6 due to track and water supply repairs

In Dnipro on July 6, public transport operates with changes due to tram track repairs, emergency work on the water supply, and reconstruction of urban communications. Some bus, tram, and trolleybus routes have been temporarily adjusted, while certain directions operate on shortened schedules. This is reported by 'Vidomo' with reference to the Dnipro City Council. 

Public transport in Dnipro: which routes changed on July 6

Due to the repair of the tram track at the intersection of Ivan Mazepa Avenue and Kyiv Street, tram No. 15 will finish its work earlier.

The last departures will be:

  • from the railway station – at 20:15;

  • from Kryvorizka Street – at 20:46.

Additionally, due to emergency water supply repairs, traffic is completely closed on Kryvorizka Street between Robocha Street and Metallurhiv Avenue.

In connection with this, the routes of buses No. 55, No. 75, and No. 156 have been changed, while buses No. 146A and No. 146B have been temporarily merged into one route.

Track repairs in Dnipro: how trams and trolleybuses are operating

At the intersection of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue and Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street, the second stage of tram track reconstruction is ongoing.

Due to this:

  • tram No. 16 is temporarily not operating;

  • tram No. 12 is operating on a shortened route to Sikorsky Street;

  • trolleybuses No. 8 and No. 9 only run to Denis Kotenko Street.

Also, the routes of buses No. 18, No. 32, No. 32K, No. 33, No. 34, No. 55, No. 85, No. 106, No. 127, No. 136, No. 136A, and No. 151A have been temporarily changed. For some routes, detours have been organized, and for certain buses, their final stops have been relocated.

Repairs in downtown Dnipro: bus route No. 23 has changed

Another change is related to the repair of the stormwater drainage system on Queen Elizabeth II Street.

Due to the closure of the section between Kharkiv Street and European Street, bus No. 23 is temporarily running to Uspenska Square, where its new final stop has been arranged.

According to the City Council, on that day, a total of 210 units of electric transport and 455 buses servicing 91 city routes went into operation. The rest of the public transport is operating in regular mode.

Note that on June 29, Russia struck Zaporizhia and Dnipro, with civilian transport and businesses among its targets.
