In Poland, updated data on wage levels was released at the beginning of 2026. The average gross salary in the corporate sector reached 9,583.31 zlotys in December 2025, exceeding analysts' expectations. This is reported by inpoland.net.pl.

According to information from the Central Statistical Office of Poland, the growth in average wages is largely explained by additional payments traditionally made at the end of the year. This includes quarterly and annual bonuses, holiday bonuses, and other incentives for employees of large companies.

Average salary in Poland: what statistics show

On an annual basis, wages in the corporate sector increased by 8.6%. This is significantly higher than the forecasts of experts who expected an increase of about 6.9%. Such dynamics indicate sustained pressure on employers regarding salary increases.

At the same time, statistics indicate a slight cooling of the labor market. The employment level in large companies decreased by 0.7%. Although the decline is not sharp, it signals a slowdown in hiring rates and a gradual reduction in job vacancies in the corporate sector.

Labor market and producer prices in Poland

In addition to salaries, statistics also draw attention to price dynamics in the industry. In December 2025, producer prices fell:

  • on an annual basis — by 2.5%

  • on a monthly basis — by 0.4%.

The combination of rising wages and falling producer prices may influence business financial decisions and the future situation in the labor market at the beginning of 2026.
