Which cities in Poland made it to the anti-rating: the top three will surprise you
In Poland, a subjective rating of cities has been compiled, which, according to the authors, lack maintained buildings, green spaces, and places for recreation the most. The list includes ten settlements, among which are large cities. Previously, Inkorr reported on the cheapest cities in Poland. The anti-rating is reported by InPoland.
When compiling the list, the lack of green plantings and places for recreation, neglected architecture, and residents' feelings of danger were taken into account. This is not an official assessment of the quality of life but a subjective view of the urban space.
Which cities in Poland made it to the top three of the anti-rating
1. Bytom, Silesian Voivodeship. The city has long been called a 'ghost town'. Among the problems, residents note neglected apartment buildings and other structures that need restoration.
2. Łódź, Łódź Voivodeship. Despite interesting places and architecture, some areas have a neglected appearance. Old houses and apartment buildings that need repairs can create a depressing impression on residents and tourists.
3. Mysłowice, Silesian Voivodeship. The state of architecture and road infrastructure is criticized in the city. Among other problems are the lack of sidewalks and a high crime rate. In another study, Polish cities were assessed by a broader range of indicators, including safety and accessibility of services, as discussed in the article about the worst cities to live in.
