World Champion from Russia complained about rising food prices in Russia

"This greatly affects our budget. Come to Russia, see the prices, and you will understand what I am talking about," said Miron Lifintsev.
Five-time world champion in short course swimming, Russian Miron Lifintsev, expressed his disappointment regarding the rising food prices in Russia. He explained that it significantly complicates the purchase of some goods, even for an athlete.
"After many years of training, this is my first gold at World Championships, and I am very happy about it," said Yana Egoryan.
At the World Fencing Championship in Tbilisi, Russian athlete Yana Egoryan won, defeating a Polish opponent in the final. She is also recognized as an ambassador of the Russian public movement and a lieutenant in the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
"Thus, the organizers limited access to participation for a large number of athletes who would like to take part in these competitions," said Deputy Fetisov.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Fetisov expressed his disagreement with the decision of the organizers of the Vilnius Marathon regarding the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes. He believes that such conditions for participation in competitions are unfair and do not reflect respect for athletes.
