  • OKKO: 75.90 UAH per liter
  • WOG: 75.90 UAH per liter
  • KLO: 70.70 UAH per liter
  • SOCAR: 75.90 UAH per liter
  • 'Ukraine': 69.90 UAH per liter

'National Cashback' Initiative

Since March 20, 2026, Ukraine has been running a 'National Cashback' fuel program, set to continue until May 1. The cashback rates are 15% for diesel, 10% for gasoline, and 5% for autogas. Maximum savings per liter can reach up to 11 UAH for diesel, 7 UAH for gasoline, and 2 UAH for autogas. In total, the monthly cashback cap per person is 1,000 UAH.

Notably, Ukraine has ranked among the top ten countries with the fastest diesel price increases, where costs have surged by 33.9%. A key driver behind this spike is the shutdown of the country’s largest oil refinery, which has pushed import dependence to over 85%.

'There is no diesel shortage, and none is expected.' - Serhiy Kuyun, Director of the A-95 Consulting Group

Meanwhile, Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Antimonopoly Committee, pointed out that 'the main objective factor behind the price increase is that, since last year, nearly all light petroleum products rely on imports.'

Fuel supply volumes in March remained at 2025 levels, but the price rise is also driven by higher logistics costs, increased demand, and reduced supply and inventory levels. As a result, the actual purchase cost of petroleum products has gone up, with further increases in production costs anticipated.

Overall, the fuel market in Ukraine remains under close watch, and despite rising prices, experts assure that no fuel shortage is foreseen.

Amid global economic challenges and heavy reliance on imports, Ukraine’s fuel market could continue to face volatility. While the 'National Cashback' program may help consumers cut fuel expenses, the upward trend in diesel and gasoline prices underscores the market’s vulnerability to external factors. Monitoring price policy shifts and import trends will remain crucial for drivers and transport- or logistics-related businesses.
