According to glavcom.ua: In many countries, such as Poland, Iceland, Germany, and Portugal, experiments are already being conducted to reduce the workweek in response to the growing number of cases of depression and burnout among employees. In Belgium, workers can also request a four-day workweek.
A study published in Nature Human Behaviour showed that reducing the workweek without lowering salaries benefits both employees and employers. About 2900 workers from 141 organizations in six countries participated in this study.
The pilot program to reduce the workweek to four days showed a positive impact on people's health and reduced the risk of burnout. Various countries around the world are already conducting experiments to shorten working hours to improve workers' quality of life and enhance their emotional well-being.
