Increase in pension supplement starting from 2026: who will receive an additional 364 zlotys

Starting from March 1, 2026, the pension supplement for individuals aged 75 and older will increase to 364.59 zlotys per month. This positive change is a result of annual indexing after valorization in March. The feature is that the payment will be made automatically, without the need to submit additional documents.

According to ZUS, all pensioners and beneficiaries who are 75 years old have the right to the additional payment. Funds will be transferred automatically without any application. Individuals younger than 75 can only receive the supplement if there is an official ZUS decision about their inability to live independently. In this case, an application must be submitted along with the OL-9 certificate. In all situations, the mandatory condition remains the presence of a designated pension or rent from ZUS.

The payment of the supplement begins from the month following the attainment of 75 years of age. Individuals in permanent care facilities (ZOL) or social care (ZPO) for more than 14 days a month will not receive the additional payment. Those who already receive similar assistance from municipal or community social assistance centers are also excluded. The supplement is tax-free and not subject to enforcement, making it a safe source of income for elderly people.
