Patient cabinet will change the declaration procedure with the doctor: what Ukrainians can expect

The agreement on the declaration with the primary healthcare doctor is a collaboration and trust between the doctor and the patient that ensures quality medical care. This process is regulated by the National Health Service of Ukraine.

Main points of the declaration:

• The doctor guarantees examinations, consultations, tests, vaccinations, and other services within their competence.

It should be remembered that there are maximum limits on the number of declarations for one doctor. If this limit is exceeded, the doctor themselves decides whether to accept new patients.

How to find a doctor

• Information on how to choose a doctor for the declaration can be found on the medical institution's website, in the NSZU contact center, in the electronic map of medical institutions, or in the patient cabinet.

If necessary, the patient can change their doctor. However, the declaration may be terminated if the patient violates the institution's rules or does not follow medical recommendations.

If the doctor terminated the declaration not due to the patient, then they probably left the position. In this case, the patient should be informed of this and may submit a new declaration to another doctor.
