Espresso in Ukraine has increased by 17%: how much does coffee cost now in the regions

According to Главком: In December 2025, the average price of a cup of espresso in Ukraine was UAH 41, which is 17% higher than in December 2024, when espresso cost UAH 35. This price increase marks a significant rise in the cost of this popular beverage among Ukrainians.
Regional prices for espresso
The most expensive region in Ukraine for espresso is Lviv region, where one cup costs UAH 47. The price of espresso in this region rose by 19% over the year. Odessa region takes the second place in terms of price, where espresso costs UAH 45. At the same time, Khmelnytsky region remains the cheapest area, offering espresso for UAH 33 per cup, with the price of espresso in Khmelnytsky region increasing by 18% over the year.
Regarding other regions, the price of espresso in Zaporizhia and Kirovohrad regions is UAH 35. The highest annual price increase for espresso was recorded in Sumy region, where prices rose by 26%, and the average price of espresso here is UAH 36. In 2024, the average price of espresso in Ukraine was UAH 31, indicating a consistent rise in prices for this beverage.
Additionally, at the beginning of December 2025, the total cost of a New Year's table for a family of four was UAH 3980, which may also reflect the overall trend of rising prices in the country.
The increase in espresso prices in Ukraine may indicate overall inflationary pressure in the economy, affecting the cost of goods and services.
