Hero of Ukraine Stotsky: 90% of enemy casualties are provided by drones
Budget Redistribution for Military Drones
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian hero Vladislav Stotsky proposed in his interview to redistribute part of the military budget from expensive units to mass production of drones. He noted that drones are responsible for about 90% of enemy personnel casualties, so it is important to focus on their production.
According to Stotsky, modern tactics require more mass production of drones and redistribution of the budget from expensive systems to serial production of drones. He emphasized the importance of this step, noting that drones significantly increase the effectiveness of inflicting damage on enemy personnel.
«Right now, in my opinion, about 90% of enemy personnel casualties are provided by drones, the rest – artillery, tanks, infantry, heavy weapons – is about 10%. Therefore, probably, we need more drones than anything else»
It is also worth noting that Romania and Ukraine have signed an agreement on joint production of defense drones to strengthen air defense. This initiative not only involves production but also technology exchange and cooperation in operating the systems.
