CyberBee: A Major Cybersecurity Training Initiative Launches for People with Disabilities
CyberBee Cybersecurity Training Program
According to Міністерство соц. політики: A new cybersecurity training initiative, CyberBee, has been launched for people with first and second category disabilities. The program was initiated by the Ministry of Social Policy and the Cyber Academy of the Sheriff Holding company. A memorandum to launch the project was signed during the Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum. The first two thousand participants will have the opportunity to receive education that meets international standards. This initiative addresses a critical global shortage of cybersecurity professionals while promoting social inclusion.
Program Details
The training will last from 9 to 12 months and will include practical specialization preparing participants for the international HTB CPTS certification. Within the program, participants will be able to master the following areas:
- SOC
- Incident Response
- Defensive Security
A pilot group of 36 participants is already undergoing training, including veterans with complex amputations.
The course features adapted learning formats and support at all stages. Participants will receive assistance with resumes, interviews, and employment, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with employers for further professional development. The CyberBee program is designed to provide people with disabilities new opportunities in the cybersecurity field.
This initiative is a significant step in ensuring educational accessibility for people with disabilities, which can substantially change their lives.
The launch of the CyberBee program not only provides new professional skills but also enhances the level of inclusion in society, demonstrating that every person has the right to develop in the modern world of technology. The project also highlights the growing demand for cybersecurity specialists in Ukraine and beyond.
