Drones Over Munich Airport: What the German Minister of Defense Said
According to glavcom.ua: German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that drones flying over Germany's airports currently pose no threat. According to him, drones will not be shot down unless they become an immediate threat. He called for caution and calm in this situation.
Pistorius also expressed doubts about the plans to create a drone protection center, as it may not account for all potential threats that could arise. Furthermore, he noted that Russia is actively exploiting unclear actions in airspace and drone flights to create tension and uncertainty.
In his statement, the Defense Minister emphasized that Putin understands German psychology well and may use it for his own purposes. At the same time, he warned that while intelligence may anticipate possible Russian attacks on NATO before 2029, this does not mean that these attacks will become a reality.
