All fires in Kyiv extinguished after shelling: details of the consequences
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, reported that all fires caused by the Russian shelling in Kyiv have been brought under control. Unfortunately, two people died, and more than thirty were injured. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service saved approximately forty individuals. One person died in the Kyiv region, and over ten were injured as a result of shelling in the Obukhiv, Fastiv, Bucha, and Brovary districts. Damage to energy facilities and emergency power outages have also been recorded in some areas.
Currently, mobile Points of Resilience are actively operating to provide warmth and support to citizens. Rescuers are working around the clock, and all necessary forces and equipment are engaged. The police are recording Russian war crimes, conducting rounds of damaged buildings, and providing assistance on-site. Access to damaged buildings is restricted due to safety concerns, but once the buildings are deemed safe, residents will be allowed to retrieve their belongings. Today is a difficult day, but the great unity and dedication of our services can help us overcome this trial.
