Ministry of Defense ordered 50 thousand wounded packages: what will they contain
At the electronic auction, the DOT managed to achieve significant savings, which range from 25-33% on various lots. The total savings exceeded 10 million UAH compared to the expected cost.
The state supply operator (DOT) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has contracted 50 thousand personal hygiene kits, which will be part of the so-called 'wounded package'. The total amount of the three contracts is 26.48 million UAH, with delivery expected by December 15. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to ProZorro.
What is included in the 'wounded package'
48 thousand men's and 2 thousand women's kits were ordered; they include a towel, shaving supplies, hygiene products, and more. All items are predominantly of Ukrainian production and are packed in backpack bags. Each package includes thank-you postcards with children's drawings.
The kits contain various products such as a towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, wipes, toilet paper, and other supplies. In addition, the women's kit includes sanitary pads, cotton cosmetic discs, and a silicone hair tie.
- 'Partner Ukraine' LLC (Dnipro) - contract for 13.85 million UAH.
- 'TK-Domashniy textile' LLC (part of TK-Group of Oleksandr Sokolovskyi) - two lots for 12.63 million UAH.
The cost of men's and women's kits has significantly decreased compared to the expected cost, which will allow for effective use of budgetary funds for the needs of the Ukrainian military.
Under the contract, the State Supply Operator has concluded 50 thousand personal hygiene kits for the military, which will be part of the 'wounded package'. The Ukrainian army will receive the necessary supplies at reduced prices, and thanks to electronic auctions, savings of over 10 million UAH have been achieved.
