NATO and Ukraine seek solutions to save the wounded on the front line

According to hvylya.net: NATO and Ukraine are joining efforts to improve medical assistance on the battlefield. The Ministry of Defense reported joint actions in this direction.

According to the agency, the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) in collaboration with the NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) announces the 17th NATO Innovation Challenge on the topic 'Medical Assistance in Accessible and Unprotected Combat Space'.

The competition organizers aim to find effective solutions to provide medical assistance in combat conditions. Representatives urge participants to develop practical concepts for medical stabilization, evacuation of the wounded, and communication in the face of threats from enemy reconnaissance and artillery strikes.

Military companies from NATO member countries and Ukraine, as well as research institutions, are invited to participate in the competition. The deadline for submitting applications is November 16, 2025.

Selected finalists will present their solutions to NATO and Ukrainian specialists, national representatives, and operational users. The public defense and demonstration of solutions will take place on December 5 in London.

Joint efforts of NATO and Ukraine have been reported to improve medical care at the front through the 17th NATO Innovation Challenge. The competition is aimed at finding new solutions for providing medical assistance in combat conditions, and participants will have the opportunity to showcase their concepts to both experts and operational users.
