According to glavcom.ua: The German authorities have decided to cut social payments for Ukrainians arriving in Germany, starting from April 1, 2025. This decision is intended to encourage Ukrainians to find jobs more quickly after relocating.
From now on, Ukrainians will have the right to assistance under the Asylum Seekers Act, rather than social assistance provided to local residents. The minimum amounts of these payments vary, but the new rules hope to push Ukrainians towards rapid employment.
