Russia attacked an energy facility in Odesa: over 30 thousand subscribers without electricity
On the night of October 9 this year, DTEK suffered another attack by the occupiers in the Odesa region. It is known that energy workers are working to restore critical facilities and residential buildings through backup lines. The company's press service reported that the repair will be time-consuming due to severe damage from the attack. According to 'Glavkom', the occupiers' attacks caused large-scale fires, resulting in the burning of residential buildings, administrative buildings, and port infrastructure. More than 30 thousand subscribers were also left without electricity. Electronic warfare forces, according to the head of the Odesa regional military administration, have destroyed most of the enemy aggression objects, but part of the civilian infrastructure has been damaged. Ultimately, DTEK has once again come under fire from the occupiers, leading to significant damage and problems with energy supply in the region. Unfortunately, this is not the first case of an attack on the company's energy facility in the Odesa region.
