Electronic labor books: what to do with paper ones after digitization

According to hvylya.net: The press service of the Pension Fund explained to Ukrainians how to properly handle labor books that are being digitized. It is noted that the paper versions of the documents remain valid, while the electronic labor book should become the sole official source of information about employment history. The digitization process will continue until 2026, and employees can currently check their data on the PFU website, add missing entries, and continue receiving entries in the paper book.

To simplify the accounting of labor activity, accelerate pension calculations, and reduce bureaucratic procedures, a system of electronic labor books is being implemented in Ukraine, which should become the main means of accounting for employees in the coming years.
