According to hvylya.net: Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Reno-Basso. The parties discussed issues of financial support for Ukraine and prospects for expanding cooperation.

The EBRD has attracted nearly 7 billion euros in investments to support the Ukrainian economy since the beginning of the Russian invasion. These funds are directed towards the implementation of critical infrastructure projects, particularly in cooperation with 'Ukrzaliznytsia', 'Ukrenergo', and 'Naftogaz'.

Work is also ongoing to expand cooperation with the EBRD through European Union guarantee mechanisms to attract additional funding for the recovery of the Ukrainian economy.

The participants of the meeting also discussed preparations for the Recovery Conference, where the signing of important documents on cooperation with the EBRD is planned, both in the public and private sectors in the fields of energy, communications, transportation, as well as new projects in cities and communities.

Denys Shmyhal also noted the importance of using confiscated Russian assets as a source of funding for the recovery of Ukraine, which remains a priority in negotiations with international partners.
