In November, Ukraine Changed the Rules for Submitting Meter Readings: What to Do
According to hvylya.net: Ukraine has changed the rules for submitting meter readings for all gas consumers. According to the Gaspravda portal, starting in November, the procedure for submitting data from gas meters has been revised. It is recommended that all consumers review the new terms to avoid misunderstandings during calculations and unnecessary expenses.
Innovations in the Meter Reading Submission System
The 'Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine' company has implemented a new system for submitting gas meter readings and launched modernized electronic services. Now key operations, such as data submission, bill payment, and personal account registration, can be performed via the company's Telegram bot.
Submission Deadlines for Meter Readings
'Naftogaz' urges its customers to submit meter readings between November 1 and November 5. If this deadline is missed, the payment calculation will be based on average readings for the building, which may lead to overpayment.
Gas Prices in Ukraine
In November, the gas tariff for the population from 'Naftogaz' remains at 7.96 hryvnias per cubic meter. Other suppliers set prices ranging from 7.79 to 9.99 hryvnias per cubic meter. In addition to the gas price, consumers must also pay for its transportation.
Ukrainian gas consumers should be attentive to the new rules for submitting meter readings and submit data in a timely manner to avoid issues during calculations.
