Co-founder of '1+1' TV channel has passed away
Boris Fuksman, co-founder and former co-owner of the '1+1' TV channel, has passed away at the age of 79. Producer Alexander Rodnyansky announced his death on his Instagram page, reports 'Glavcom'.
According to the producer, Fuksman was a successful German entrepreneur who lived in Europe for more than half a century. He started from scratch and achieved significant heights thanks to his energy, ideas, and strong character.
«My brother always supported me and my seemingly crazy projects - the main one being the creation of the Ukrainian TV channel 1+1. I had no one closer to me besides my wife and children», Rodnyansky added.

Boris Fuksman was a German media magnate, investor, and film producer. He actively supported Jewish communities worldwide and held the position of honorary president of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine.
It is worth noting that entrepreneur Boris Fuksman, who is the father of former MP Irina Berezhna’s daughter (the politician died in a car accident in 2017. - Ed.), stated that the mother of the deceased is fighting him for custody of the child. The girl was born in July 2009.
In turn, former Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Irena Kilchitska reported that Fuksman 'is connecting his channels in Ukraine for the sake of the fight.'
The deceased Boris Fuksman was a well-known German businessman and co-founder of the '1+1' TV channel. He was an active supporter of Jewish communities and an honorary president of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine. It is also known that he fought for custody of his granddaughter, who was born after her mother died in a car accident.
