The most popular airlines among Ukrainians recognized as the worst in the EU
The British organization Which? has published a new ranking of European airlines, in which one of the most popular low-cost carriers among Ukrainian and Polish passengers received the lowest rating. This refers to the Irish airline Ryanair. This is reported by "InPoland".
The study is based on a survey of passengers who had flown economy class from UK airports over the year. As a result, Ryanair ended up at the bottom of the ranking among European Union carriers.
European Airlines Ranking: Who Was Recognized as the Worst Carrier
The survey was conducted in October and November 2025. A total of 5518 passengers participated, who together completed thousands of flights of varying distances.
Overall, the survey participants rated:
- 2618 short-haul flights
- 6894 long-haul flights.
During the study, several key indicators were taken into account:
- the number of last-minute flight cancellations
- cancellations less than 24 hours before departure
- the distance between seats and legroom
- overall passenger satisfaction
- willingness to recommend the airline to others.
As a result of the survey, Ryanair received the lowest ratings among carriers.
Low-Cost Airlines in Europe: What Passengers Most Often Complain About
Passengers noted that during their travels, they encountered a number of problems. Among the most common complaints:
- uncomfortable seats and limited cabin space
- frequent flight delays
- additional fees
- communication issues with customers.
In reviews, some travelers noted that the carrier "treated passengers more like an inconvenience than as customers."
Other popular low-cost airlines – Wizz Air and the Spanish company Vueling – received somewhat better ratings but also faced criticism for flight delays and cramped cabins.
In contrast, the airline Jet2.com demonstrated the best results in the ranking. It received high ratings for flight punctuality, passenger service quality, and the transparency of its transportation conditions.
