The application process for the 'School Package' 2025 ends on November 15: be sure to apply

November 15 is the last day for Ukrainian families to submit an application for state assistance “School Package” for 2025. On weekends, applications can only be submitted online through the Diia app. The Government portal reports.

How to apply for the 'School Package' online

With Diia, the application takes just a few minutes. You will need an ID card or a foreign passport, as well as a verified tax number. In the service, go to Services → State Assistance → School Package and follow the step-by-step procedure:

• select the child for whom assistance is being applied;

• choose or open the Diia.Card;

• check the information and sign the application with Diia.Signature.

Funds are credited specifically to the Diia.Card and are available for cashless payments in both offline and online stores. The special platform lists about 27 thousand retail locations where payments under the program are guaranteed to be accepted. The money must be used within 180 days.

How much has been paid out so far

“School Package” provides a one-time assistance amount for families of first-graders of 5,000 UAH, which can be spent on essential items for education: stationery, books, clothing, or footwear. Most often, according to the program, families buy clothing.

The budget for the initiative for 2025 is 1.22 billion UAH. As of mid-November, 84% of the plan has already been fulfilled-over a billion hryvnias have been provided to almost 202 thousand families who used over 730 million UAH for necessary purchases.

The program is implemented as part of the initiative of the President of Ukraine. It was developed by the Ministry of Social Policy in conjunction with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Diia, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Pension Fund, and the State Service for Children. Partners include UNDP and the Swiss-Ukrainian project DECIDE.

Additionally, the “Winter Support” program is already in operation, which provides 1,000 UAH in assistance-it can also be applied for online.
