In our times, when the situation in the east of the country remains tense, it is important to have clear rules for reporting workplace accidents. This is especially relevant as the number of injuries among employees is increasing due to both professional activities and military events.

In particular, the Pension Fund of Ukraine emphasizes that employers must immediately report accidents that occurred due to military events to ensure social protection for the victims. It should be noted that according to legislation, the employer is required to submit a report on the accident within a day.

'The employer is obliged to submit a written or electronic report of the accident within one day', - representatives of the PFU emphasize.

It is also important to remember that each case of injury or illness, especially if it is related to military events, must be recorded according to the established procedure. The employer is required to immediately inform the relevant authorities in case the accident occurred due to shelling or other aggressive actions.

Thus, adherence to the rules for recording and reporting workplace accidents helps ensure effective social protection for employees if needed.
