In an interview with Novyny.Live, he warned that control of this settlement could pose a direct threat to Moldova and help sustain Russian troops stationed in the breakaway region of Transnistria. “In my subjective opinion, their calculation was to take control of Zatoka to create a threat to Moldova and support their forces in Transnistria,” emphasized Ivan Tymochko.
