Journalists have discovered that some officials of the Pension Fund of Ukraine act in a way that can lead to financial losses for pensioners amounting to thousands of hryvnias every month. 'It happens that some employees of the Pension Fund act, to put it mildly, inadequately, and sometimes even directly violate rights. Because of this, people lose thousands of hryvnias every month,' explained journalist Irina Polyakova.

In addition, insufficiently detailed information in the statements also complicates the verification of the correctness of calculations and can cause financial misunderstandings between pensioners and officials.

To avoid such situations, pensioners are advised to insist on receiving a full statement with all necessary details. They can also independently contact the Register of Insured Persons via the PFU portal or the mobile app 'Diyа', as well as demand quality and understandable information about the calculation. The main thing is to keep in mind your own rights and to be persistent in the fight for a fair pension.
