Fake Reserve+ App Exposed by Ukraine’s Security Service for Draft Evasion Scheme

According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) and the cyber police have dismantled a group that developed a fraudulent copy of the Reserve+ application, designed to help individuals evade military conscription. The service was priced at 1,200 hryvnias per month, granting users the ability to alter their personal data within the electronic cabinet and insert false information regarding deferments from service.
More than 4,000 individuals utilized this platform. Law enforcement conducted searches in Kyiv, Rivne, and Cherkasy, seizing the following items:
- computers,
- phones,
- USB flash drives,
- bank cards,
- SIM cards.
The counterfeit app has been taken offline.
Two suspects have been formally charged and face up to eight years in prison. The investigation remains active, with authorities working to identify any additional members of this criminal network.
