Protests Against Vucic's Government Erupt Again in Serbia
According to glavcom.ua: In Belgrade, on June 28, students and activists staged large-scale protests in Sava Square, demanding the resignation of the president and early elections. Unfortunately, the peaceful demonstration turned into clashes with the police when some protesters began throwing bottles and fireworks at law enforcement.
“Today, June 28, 2025, we declare the current government illegitimate,” said one of the protest participants.
The Minister of Internal Affairs immediately warned that those who attacked the police would not go unpunished. President Vucic fervently promised not to allow a scenario in Serbia similar to the Ukrainian Maidan; he has enough patience and is accustomed to a war with the people.
Protests took place in Belgrade that escalated into clashes with the police, during which protesters threw bottles and fireworks at law enforcement. These protests demanded the resignation of the President of Serbia and the holding of early elections. President Vucic assured that he would not allow a revolution in his country and refused to leave his position.
