According to glavcom.ua: Foreign researchers have noticed a new trend among young workers - career minimalism. Its essence is that young people refuse the frantic career growth, opting for stability, basic responsibilities, and more time for themselves. They are not rushing to high positions and large salaries, but choosing comfort and stability.
Career minimalism implies avoiding additional responsibilities and the stress related to career growth. This approach is especially popular among representatives of Generation Z. It contrasts with previous generations who considered a high salary and a prestigious position as the main goal in work.
Now, more young employees believe that career growth is important only for increasing income. If they earn enough money and find satisfaction in their work, they are content with their position.
There is a growing demand for career minimalism among the younger generation, which values stability, health, and balance between professional and personal life.
