According to ХВИЛЯ: Military lawyer Mykhailo Lobunko from the law firm 'Prykhodko and Partners' has outlined three legal procedures for military-eligible individuals to clear a 'wanted' status, which typically results from violations of military registration rules. This status is a serious matter within Ukraine's current mobilization framework and can lead to significant legal and personal consequences.

• Administrative Review via the TCC

  The first method involves an administrative review through the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC). If the status was assigned in error-for instance, if a summons was sent to an incorrect address-the TCC can terminate the proceedings. The operator then updates the Oberih registry, and the 'wanted' status is removed.

• Financial Settlement

  A second option is financial settlement, which entails paying a fine for the registration violation. The Reserve+ app recently introduced an online fine payment feature, allowing this to be done without a physical visit to the TCC. After payment, the TCC and law enforcement request the National Police to remove the individual from the wanted list, with a notification appearing in the app.

• Legal Challenge Against the Military Enlistment Office

  The third path is to legally challenge the actions of the military enlistment office in court. It is crucial to understand that clearing the 'wanted' status and paying a fine does not automatically grant a deferment from service. An individual may still be mobilized after reporting to the TCC and law enforcement, even if the visit's sole purpose was to remove the status. The exception is when the 'wanted' status was erroneous; in such cases, reporting to the TCC afterward is not mandatory. Therefore, the issue of mobilization is separate from the process of removing the status.
