Рекордні опади у В'єтнамі: численні жертви та масова евакуація населення

On Tuesday, a tropical storm hit Vietnam, causing at least four deaths, damage to homes, and flooding in the capital and coastal areas. This was reported by The Associated Press.

Four people died in Vietnam, including a 90-year-old man whose house collapsed during the rain and a man who died from electrocution while preparing his home for the storm. 13 people were injured, and thousands of homes were damaged in the central region of the country.

The storm caused power outages in Nghe An province. The Vietnamese government reported that nearly 600 thousand people were evacuated from Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, Hue, and Danang provinces, where over 152 thousand houses were in high-risk areas.

Earlier, the monsoon rains paralyzed part of Mumbai, India's financial and entertainment capital. Disruptions affected flights and even some always-busy local trains that are a vital part of the city's transportation system.

As a result, the tropical storm in Vietnam led to casualties and destruction, prompting the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people. Such natural disasters remind us of the importance of preparedness in the face of natural catastrophes.
