Turkey Unveils New Ballistic Missile

According to ХВИЛЯ: Turkey has introduced a new intercontinental ballistic missile capable of striking targets up to 6,000 kilometers away. In a solo broadcast, political analyst Yuriy Romanenko discussed this development and drew comparisons with Ukraine's own weapons programs. According to him, Turkey’s missile initiative took roughly 20 years to develop, whereas Ukraine allocated about $2 billion over 15–20 years for its "Grim" project, which, at the time of his statement, had not yet been successfully launched.

Ukraine's Weapons Development Challenges

Romanenko expressed serious concerns about the state of weapons development in Ukraine.

“This really shows the extent of degradation that has taken place in Ukraine-at the level of state thinking, experts, businesses, and officials,” he emphasized.

He also pointed to public questions being raised: 'People are starting to ask why money was taken from the Flamingo project and not shared with Pivdenmash or other entities.'

Despite these issues, Romanenko acknowledged that some Ukrainian companies from the private sector have begun to deliver results in weapons manufacturing.

“The real results are coming from companies that started from scratch, from actual business backgrounds,” he noted.

These comments underscore the importance of innovation and adaptation in the face of modern challenges.

In summary, Turkey's presentation of its intercontinental ballistic missile, along with Romanenko's remarks, opens new avenues for analyzing the progress of missile programs in different countries, particularly Ukraine. They also highlight the need for focused investment in national defense industries and the potential for collaboration between companies to achieve better outcomes.
