According to glavcom.ua: The Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council is verifying information regarding a teacher who, according to the mother of one of the students, spread misinformation about the war in Ukraine. After the publication of the material online, the teacher has already left the lyceum.
“The educational process in the city's schools is carried out in accordance with state standards and is aimed at fostering respect for Ukraine, its laws, and citizens. Ukraine is united. We stand together for the dignity and future of our children.”
This incident, along with the event in a Finnish school where a teacher forced a student to sing a Russian song, highlights the importance of instilling respect for the language and culture of the country in educational institutions.
