According to Прокуратура Київ: A 43-year-old man from the Vinnytsia region has been detained in Kyiv on suspicion of accepting an illegal benefit. The individual is accused of promising a person liable for military service that, for a payment of $5,200, he could arrange for them to be declared unfit for duty and removed from the military register.
The total bribe was structured with an initial payment of $1,700 (approximately 70,800 Ukrainian hryvnias), with the remaining $3,500 to follow. The funds were channeled through an intermediary, indicating an organized scheme. The suspect is now in custody, and his actions are being prosecuted under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of Ukraine's Criminal Code.
