Explosions in Crimea

According to Главком: A wave of explosions struck the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula late on June 3 and into the early hours of June 4, following what local residents described as a large-scale drone assault. Air defense systems were activated and blast sounds were reported across multiple settlements, including Sevastopol, Simferopol, and near the military airfields of Belbek, Saki (Novofedorivka), and Gvardiyske.

Mikhail Razvozhayev, the self-appointed governor of Sevastopol, acknowledged the attack and claimed that air defense forces had intercepted seven unmanned aerial vehicles. Meanwhile, the OSINT channel of the ATESH partisan movement documented yet another strike on the Saki military airfield.

Strikes on Logistics Infrastructure

Drone operators from the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of Ukraine are continuing to target the supply routes and logistics infrastructure used by Russian occupation forces in southern Ukraine. Ukrainian operators maintain fire control over sections of the land corridor linking Crimea to occupied territories in Donetsk via Berdiansk and Melitopol.

This latest attack on Crimea, particularly on military assets, signals an intensification of Ukrainian efforts to counter the Russian occupation. Strikes on logistics hubs could significantly disrupt the flow of resources to Russian troops, potentially altering the broader battlefield dynamics. Such operations may also indicate a shift in Ukrainian tactics toward systematically degrading the enemy's operational capacity.

The recent drone attack on Crimea underscores a broader strategy by Ukrainian forces to undermine Russian military operations. This aligns with reports that Ukrainian intelligence has gained fire control over Russian supply lines in the south, highlighting a systematic effort to disrupt logistics and enhance battlefield effectiveness.
