Traffic changes in Lviv until June 28 due to road repairs in the city center
In Lviv, from June 25 to June 28 inclusive, traffic will be restricted on a section of Stryiska Street due to extensive asphalt works. During the repair, one of the key sections of the road will be completely closed, and trolleybuses will operate on changed routes. This is reported by the Lviv City Council .
Which section of Stryiska Street in Lviv will be closed until June 28
Repair works will be conducted on the stretch from Vernadsky Street to Ivan Pavlo II Avenue in the direction of entering the city.
During the asphalting, this section will be completely closed to private and public transport. Meanwhile, a two-way traffic will be organized on the opposite side of Stryiska Street.
To enter and exit the city, two lanes will be used in each direction.
How trolleybus No. 23 will operate in Lviv from June 25 to June 28
During the repair, trolleybus route No. 23 will be shortened to the stop 'Khutorivka.'
The transport will operate on the route 'Ryasivska - Khutorivka' without entering the closed section of Stryiska Street.
How the routes of trolleybuses No. 25 and No. 22 will change in Lviv until June 28
Trolleybus No. 25 will also temporarily operate only to the stop 'Khutorivka.' Its route during the works will be 'Shota Rustaveli - Khutorivka.'
On route No. 22, part of the trips will run on the usual route 'University - Bus Station,' as it is serviced by trolleybuses with autonomous operation.
Other vehicles will operate on a shortened route 'University - Pidstryhach.' Information about the final stop will be displayed on electronic boards.
How buses will operate in Lviv during the repair of Stryiska Street
Bus routes and private transport in general will continue to operate without changes to the scheme.
The exception will be route No. 57. During the asphalting of the intersection of Stryiska and Maksymovycha Streets, which will last several hours, its final stop will temporarily be Bus Station.
The city council asks drivers and passengers to consider the temporary restrictions and plan their travel routes in advance.
It should be noted that in Lviv, the Andriy Parubiy Square has been opened.
