Three participants of the clash with TCK in Lviv were taken into custody without bail
Конфлікт у Львові призвів до арешту трьох осіб під час зустрічі з військовими комісарами.

Preventive Measures Handed Down to Lviv Riot Participants

According to Главком: On July 11, a court ordered the detention without the possibility of bail for three individuals involved in the unrest in Lviv's Sykhiv district. The events that led to these rulings unfolded during the night of July 9, following a confrontation that took place on July 8 on Chervonoyi Kalyny Avenue. That clash involved personnel from the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC), police officers, and roughly 200 civilians.

Among the accused are two men, aged 21 and 28, who are charged with organizing and inciting others to commit illegal acts. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, they actively participated in damaging an official SUV belonging to military personnel, blocking its movement, jumping on the vehicle, and overturning it. The third participant, a 45-year-old Lviv resident, is accused of provoking a conflict with a TCC serviceman, grabbing at him, attempting to tear off his military uniform, and verbally abusing him.

Preventive Ruling for Oleh Havrylov

Additionally, on July 10, the Sykhiv District Court of Lviv imposed a preventive measure on 23-year-old Oleh Havrylov, who is suspected of assaulting police officers during the conflict with TCC staff. The attack resulted in bodily harm to the deputy head of the district police department. Several participants in the brawl also recorded a video apology, expressing regret for their behavior and pledging to join the ranks of the Armed Forces.

This incident underscores the ongoing tension between military authorities, law enforcement, and civilians in Ukraine, particularly amid the protracted conflict in the eastern part of the country. The choice of such strict preventive measures reflects the severity of the offenses and the authorities' determination to uphold public order. Public reactions to these events may shape both societal attitudes and future state actions in the realms of security and law enforcement.

The recent unrest in Lviv has sparked not only legal repercussions but also a surprising turn of events among some participants. Following the clashes, several individuals have publicly expressed remorse for their actions and pledged to enlist in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This development highlights a complex dynamic between civic unrest and national duty, further explored in our article on the apologies and commitments of the rioters.
