IAEA made a concerning prediction regarding uranium enrichment in Iran
Iran may restore enriched uranium production 'in a matter of months'
The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, stated that despite significant damage to nuclear facilities as a result of attacks by the USA and Israel, Iran could restore its enriched uranium production in a short time.
Grossi confirmed that Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan have suffered serious destruction, but some sites can still be repaired. He also expressed concern about the possible movement of Iranian stocks of highly enriched uranium before the attacks.
'We do not know where this material may be. Some may have been destroyed during the attack, while others may have been moved. So at some point, there needs to be clarification,' Grossi emphasized.
The situation with Iran's nuclear program remains complex, and the necessity of international monitoring is underscored. The question of damage and the movement of nuclear materials remains open and requires further investigation.
