Earthquake in Turkey: over 250 tremors shook the Kütahya province
According to glavcom.ua: A strong earthquake occurred in the Kütahya province in western Turkey. The strongest tremor reached a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale and had its epicenter at a depth of 8.46 km. According to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the number of aftershocks following the main tremor was around 250.
On September 28, an earthquake struck the Simav district of Kütahya province, causing damage to 8 buildings, but thankfully there were no human casualties. Local residents felt the tremors in numerous provinces, and search and rescue teams are currently on-site assessing the damage and injuries.
Search and rescue teams continue to work on-site. The damage is being documented and the assessment of damages is ongoing.

Recall that in August, another strong earthquake occurred in Turkey, with a magnitude of 6.1. As a result of this earthquake, one person died, and dozens were injured. Tremors were felt in many provinces across the country.
