Strikes on the Occupants' Oil Bases

The Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes on the oil bases and technical facilities of the occupants in Russia, confirming the destruction of drones and damage to tanks. On the night of December 3, 2023, a strike was conducted on the oil base 'Dmitriyevskaya' in the Tambov region of Russia. A fire has been reported at the oil base, with several oil product tanks on fire.

Additionally, on December 2, 2023, the oil base 'Livni' in the Oryol region of the Russian Federation was hit, where two RV-5000 tanks are burning. Furthermore, a technical monitoring post on the marine stationary platform MSP-4 in the Black Sea was damaged. The occupants' drone unit was destroyed, and a radar station on the floating drilling rig 'Sivash' was hit.

Cost and Characteristics of Drones

Let us remind you that on November 27, 2023, as a result of the strike on the Saki airfield in Crimea, three reconnaissance-strike drones 'Orion' were destroyed. It is worth noting that the cost of one 'Orion' drone is about 5 million US dollars, its wingspan is 16.3 meters, and its air time is up to 24 hours.

These strikes are part of Ukraine's ongoing military campaign aimed at reducing Russia's military potential and hindering its resources. The importance of oil bases for sustaining military operations underscores the strategic nature of such attacks, as control over resources can influence the course of the conflict. Such actions demonstrate not only military resilience but also Ukraine's readiness for active actions on all fronts, particularly in the context of unmanned technologies.
