According to Главком: Emergency response efforts have concluded following a drone strike on a passenger train in the Kharkiv region. The attack, which resulted in fatalities and injuries, occurred near the village of Yazykove in the Barvinkove community of the Izium district. Inside a damaged carriage, the bodies of four victims were recovered, alongside human remains. The final death toll will be confirmed following DNA analysis.

The targeted train was operating on the Chop – Kharkiv – Barvinkove route. Investigative data indicates the assault was carried out using three Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Two strikes were recorded near the train, with a third hitting a passenger carriage directly. That specific carriage was carrying 18 people at the time, while the train held over 200 passengers in total.
