Pensioners over 80 years old receive 570 hryvnias: who else receives an additional payment

According to hvylya.net: The Pension Fund of Ukraine has reported that over 10 million Ukrainian pensioners can receive an additional payment to their pensions, which can reach 570 hryvnias. The average pension in the country is 6,430 hryvnias, but a third receive less than 4,000 hryvnias.

The state supports elderly citizens by providing monthly age supplements. The highest payment of 570 hryvnias is given to individuals aged 80 and above, after which the amounts decrease: 456 UAH for ages 75 to 79 and 300 UAH for those aged 70 to 74. When transitioning to the next age category, the individual is only credited with the difference.

• From June to October 2025, the average pension increased by 26.6 UAH, reaching 6,430 UAH.
• The highest pensions are received in Kyiv (8,840 UAH), while the lowest are in Ternopil Oblast (4,990 UAH).
• The minimum pension is 2,360 UAH for individuals without the necessary insurance experience.
• Retired judges receive over 109 thousand UAH monthly.

Pension indexation is planned for March 2026 after the announcement of the inflation rate in February. It is important to remember that this is a significant issue for millions of pensioners, as their incomes may be reduced.
