According to Кабмін: Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko chaired a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kubra and the head of the State Agency for Restoration, Serhii Sukhomlyn, to discuss road repairs. The meeting resulted in a decision to commence pothole repairs on international and national highways, including those in frontline regions.
To ensure the repairs are carried out, an additional 3 billion hryvnias have been allocated from the state budget's reserve fund. These funds are designated for pothole repairs on highways in frontline areas and on heavily trafficked public roads of national importance.
Yuliia Svyrydenko stated: 'Following the meeting, we will allocate an additional 3 billion hryvnias from the state budget reserve fund to ensure pothole repairs on highways in frontline regions and on heavily trafficked public roads of national importance.'
All repairs must be completed by June 1, highlighting the urgency of updating Ukraine's road infrastructure. This accelerated timeline is critical for maintaining vital supply lines and civilian mobility during the ongoing conflict.
