According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has granted official status to the new 'Bukovyna 1' industrial park, which will be formally registered in the state registry in 2026. The park, an initiative of MM AGRO LLC, is situated in the Kelmenetska community. This approval is part of a broader government strategy to stimulate regional economic growth and attract investment. The project involves a total investment of 698.3 million hryvnias and is expected to generate approximately 250 direct jobs.
Prospects and Core Focus Areas
Spanning over 18 hectares, the 'Bukovyna 1' industrial park has a long-term operational concept planned for 49 years. Ukraine's Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture highlighted the site's logistical advantages, noting its strong potential to become part of a powerful regional agro-industrial cluster. Specifically, the park's planned activities include:
- manufacturing flour, cereals, starches, oils, and animal feed;
- processing vegetables and fruits;
- producing natural juices.
Furthermore, 'Bukovyna 1' plans to integrate alternative energy sources to power its production, a move designed to spur the growth of small businesses and service companies in the area. The project also emphasizes the adoption of circular economy principles and environmentally friendly production standards, underscoring a commitment to sustainable development and ecological responsibility.
