According to glavcom.ua: Anatolii Barhylevych spoke about the traditions of celebrating the birthday of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. Last year they celebrated this occasion at the front, without excesses, but with an important work process.

“Chess is sacred. Everyone knows this, which is why chess sets are often given as birthday gifts. He has a whole collection of chess boards, a lot of them. I don't know what he will do with them. Of course, chess sets were also given on his last birthday. What else was given? Some interestingly processed shell casing, handicrafts made from shell fragments, and chess,” Barhylevych noted.
