5 million Ukrainians have already received winter assistance: how to spend 1000 hryvnias

According to Кабмін: More than 5 million Ukrainians are interested in participating in the 'Winter Support' program, which was launched by the government. Of these, nearly 952 thousand applications were submitted for children. And not without reason – this program provides assistance in the amount of 1,000 hryvnias.

The funds received can be used to pay for utilities, purchase medicines, support Ukrainian producers in the food sector, make charitable donations, or even for postal services. The application process will last until December 24, 2025, inclusive, through the Diia app or Ukrposhta, and receiving the funds will take only 10 days.

'Winter Support' is an important initiative for our country, aimed at supporting citizens during the coldest times of the year,” noted the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.

Ukrainians have shown great interest in the 'Winter Support' program, which is aimed at helping citizens during the cold season. The application process continues, and it is expected that the program will significantly ease the lives of Ukrainians by providing small financial assistance.
