Salaries in Ukraine in 2026: which professions showed the most growth

According to Work.ua, the incomes of specialists working with artificial intelligence have increased most dynamically. The average salary in this field reached 42,500 UAH per month, which is 73% more than last year.

The top ten professions with the highest salary growth included:

  1. AI specialist — 42,500 UAH (+73%);
  2. furniture production technologist — 55,000 UAH (+69%);
  3. visa manager — 40,000 UAH (+60%);
  4. programming instructor — 20,000 UAH (+60%);
  5. mason — 60,000 UAH (+60%);
  6. roofer — 47,500 UAH (+58%);
  7. author — 43,000 UAH (+56%);

  9. tiler — 57,500 UAH (+53%);
  10. zoo technician — 37,500 UAH (+53%).

Blue-collar professions remain among the highest paid

Experts note that employers continue to actively compete for qualified workers due to a labor shortage. That is why some of the highest salaries are offered in the construction and manufacturing sectors.

Among the highest paid blue-collar professions:

  • mason — 60,000 UAH;
  • tiler — 57,500 UAH;
  • furniture production technologist — 55,000 UAH;
  • roofer — 47,500 UAH.

Specialists explain the uneven salary growth by the development of artificial intelligence technologies, a sharp shortage of skilled workers, high demand for blue-collar professions, and competition among companies for experienced employees. At the same time, in certain sectors, there is still a imbalance between the salary expectations of candidates and the capabilities of employers.

It should be noted that in Ukraine the minimum wage is twice as low as in Moldova.
